KID'S DO & SAY THE CUTIEST THINGS. . . . . .

I, at one time, wrote up for a book "My Kid's Do & Say The Cuties Things".  It along with some other writings got taken to the dump.  They were in a "tower" that my hubby needed to destroy when he went more modern because of priviledged information on clients stored in it.  But some things I've collected on my "Grand's" could qualify now so maybe I'll try again.  In the meantime I'll tell you how I collected the original sayings.  Everytime one of my seven children would say or do something I thought was really extra cute I'd write it down on my wall calendar. The calendar was in the most central area of our home and I knew I could run there quickly.  I'd also call my Momma and share it all with her from the wall phone that was right next to the calendar I was writing stuff down on.  Because Momma was widowed young, she was a young "Nonny",  always available to share my kids cuteness with me, she was my great support, especially when it came to loving and caring what our children said and did.  We included Momma in most everything we had going on in our busy lives.  Someday I'll come across my old calendar's and recreate posts on my children but in the meantime here are some of my precious "Grand" sayings:

Ruby, age 4 said to her Mother when her Mother told her to change her clothes to go for a hike with her.   "...you can't order me around."

Abbie, at age 4 said to her "Papa" when he told her she needed to try coloring within the lines said, "...my mother said I don't have to."

While doing an impromptu cousins talent show in the home of their "Nonny" and "Poppy" Allen.  Savannah was singing when Dayna put her hand over Savannahs mouth and said, "That's enough of you."

While living in Timmy's back forty before we got a home after our Mission.  Little Levi would come into our motorhome every morning before school kiss me on each cheek and rub them in (not to gently either!) and then look me over and say that he was helping me not get more wrinkles.

Right in the middle of having family pictures taken by a Professional Photographer (our very own Kimberly of "Forty LOVE") Timmy took this "selfy" of us.  Per pictures featured below -  like father, like son, Timmy's T.J. took the biggest piece of turkey he laid eyes on at our Thanksgiving Dinner in the Lloyd's rental;  Brady's version of helping his "Grammy" empty the dishwasher; Savannah thinks the bottom drawer in our 33rd Place Home filled with "Grammy's" unbreakable dishes was better emptied with her planted in the middle of it;  after his "Grammy" taught him how to make bread and then made up a booklet on the letter "B",  Max wanted to share his newly found talent with several so he was filling up plastic bags with his efforts;  Austin and his sister Ashlyn like getting into their new puppy's kennel and acting like unhappy caged animals;  Savannah loved her "dress-up" time at her "Nonny" Allen's and giving her "Nonny" kisses was fun as well;  Ashlyn with her halo a little off kilter tell's a true story;  T.J. lovingly combing his little brother Levi's hair for church is precious;  Alysa's new puppy showing her appreciation for the warm-up being given inside Alysa's coat:
